You Can’t Fail Board of Directors
You Can’t Fail, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit company and as such, its Board of Directors must abide by all state and federal laws regulating the operations of a nonprofit Board of Directors. The Board fully recognizes it is required by NYS to do the following on behalf of the company:
The duty of obedience to purpose – everything is done in support of the Mission and regularly assessed
The duty of care – providing oversight as if you “owned” the company. The Board is there to represent stakeholders not staff
The duty of loyalty – undivided allegiance and accountability for resources
